Will diesel fuel kill fruit if sprayed on the orchard floor with round-up?
horselady_58 asked:
My father wanted to get a good killing sull'erba in our orchard, so he mixed 1 gallon of fuel dieself with the usual quantity of collection. Now our apples are turning a bright red and are falling, even those we didn 't use of a spray of thinning above. It is the result of diesel fuel? If so, how long an effect diesel has on trees? What about our harvest next year? apples to be unedible survive?

Which is better: a hybrid, a diesel run on biodiesel or flex fuel?
hot_fat_chik1982 asked:
I want to buy a new car and I want something that helps the environment. I know I can do my own biodiesel and while not helping so much in emissions, is even better for the environment but also I did some reading in FlexFuel (engines of methanol, dell'etanolo or petrol) and in hybids but nell'non sure that is the best option

Alcohol as an alternative fuel, doable or not?
minus asked:
The process of preparation of alcohol seems to me rather counterproductive. It takes a lot of land to cultivate the material used to do it. There is a lot of energy used to convert it into alcohol and then more energy to distill it to remove the water and other materials. Then it must be transported and stored. Without the government to give companies the money to make alcohol would cost much more than the gasolene hours ago. I do not see the sense in that.

Fuel Questions?
zach b asked:
1. Among the fuels that have oxygen in them and those who don 't, as methanol against butane, because methanol has a lower heat per gram of fuel that the butane that has a lot on? 2. What kind of problems / benefits would ethanol as an alternative fuel to petrol? I think it is becaue because it has so reduced heat per gram of fuel or would be harder to burn or consumption of fuel faster. This is the right kind to you? 3.Stinker station has miz dell'etanolo: What is the percentage of ethanol? What is the level dell'ottano and how it differs from petrol? Thank you!
