Alternative car fuels

I got them 2 for Christmas and I want to know do my own fuel. I have already tried a recipe but now I'm having difficulty keeping the burning of the wick. The recipe I used was 16 fluid ounces. of isopropyl alcohol of 91% and fragrance of .3 ounces. I bought oil at Walmart because I had read that some are using it. It is called oil of refreshment of potpourri and is in a very small vial. Love to be able to make my own because the fuel is so expensive to buy. What am I to do evil? Thanks for any help!
