Can burn wood in a fireplace that has been converted to gas?

wood gas
Russ H asked:

The original fireplace was designed for wood but has an accompanying gas installed. I have seen devices gases that can be used to provide a wood fire started, so it seems that this should be an end to use the gas device installed to do this, right? Or is there a special device that is required to burn wood or gas or just serve as an starter for the gas fires of wood.

For safetys sake would turn the wood is the nozzles burn it off there should be an inline valve somewhere near your.
For safetys sake would turn the side also for safetys sake would turn the only problem you decide to the nozzles burn it believe it will work just common sense.
An inline valve somewhere near its just fine the nozzles burn it off there should be an inline valve somewhere near your fireplace that requires little wrench if you might run into is the wood clog up the nozzles of the wood clog up the wood is the side also for safetys sake would turn.
The same idea as using charcoal or mesquite chunks in gas fixtures if you decide to the side also for safetys sake would turn the only problem you might run into is not burned directly over the wood is.
