why dosn’t the government use biodiesel for the millitary to reduce oil consumption?

Biodiesel can already be used by existing engines and handled by existing infrastructure, and best of all, it is made from crops grown by American farmers. Think of how much fuel the millitary uses on just it’s domestic bases.

Would you consider buying a diesel powered vehicle so you could begin using Biodiesel fuel?

mindbender - seeker of truth asked:

Biodiesel can be made from grains grown right in your own country. It burns clean and is non toxic in the event of a spill. Best of all, the only CO2 it emits (greenhouse gas) is CO2 that was already in the air. It is not new CO2 that was pumped up from under the ground.
