Fermentation of Sucrose to Ethanol lab using Fractional Distillation?

ethanol distillation
Kelly M asked:

We have done this experiment in the laboratory fractional distillation of Ochem. I collected three fractions of distillate with their weighing 7.896g (fraction 1), 7.901g (fraction 2) and 7.800g (fraction 3) each. So I used gas chromatography to determine the percentage of the weight of ethanol in all three portions which were 40.29% (tranche 1), 10.69% (tranche 2) and 66.47% (fraction 3). What is the total yield of ethanol (in grams) in all fractions? It is the mass of all three fractions added together? I think that seems too simple. Anyone who helps him please? I
