How can I get rid of a diesel fuel odor?

I bought a set of hands of the mannequin on ebay (which are empty interior). There is a strong smell of diesel fuel that eminating from the inside of them and I can 't if free! You can feel the smell during the room. I 'the VE tried the bleaching and a deodorant commercial can meet someone for help?
