How is diesel fuel a cleaner burning fuel than it’s unleaded alternative. If it is cleaner why isn’t it used.

    Diesel is a much dirtier burning fuel than unleaded gasoline. However, what you are probably referring to is that diesel is a more efficient fuel, in that a higher percentage of it is coverted into work than gasoline.
