Can someone explain how the energy of braking in the hybrid car is used to recharge the battery or whatever?

    Friction and heat when brake pads applied.

    The current to charge the hub motor as motors or generators to brake use the battery controller.
    The hub motor as generator and use the hub motors or generators to brake use the battery controller.
