Is the car industry going to change soon?

A few days ago I asked a question about the government that is responsible not only of increasing fuel costs but also wondering if people think should be behind the drive technology in identifying alternatives to gasoline. The interesting question and answer some good even though some tend to go at any time on the defensive you speak the Government expression. Anyway, I want to know when the field of buiness (mainly the manfactures industry) is going to accelerate this process of identification and dedication of alternative cars. Yes, there are hybrids and so on out there but there is no real savings. The price of a hybrid that is not vederei for many years on any fuel savings against the additional cost of cars down the road. Is anyone working on something else? Hybrids are great, but lets be honest, I can 't see spending the 5-7 thousand U.S. dollars extra on a car that is going to keep some penny pump. Leave to develop cars that don 't work on the gas at all. As in that regard?

in all comes back to demand,now the petrol prices are going through the roof,big car sales have plumeted,likewise,when pepole stop buying cars because they cant afford to change then because all there money is going on fuel,then the industry will come up with a solution,its the old age saying,necessity becomes the mother of invention.this was very evident, both during and after world war two.

The stress and we are going on to find out low cost cars with high performance they are facing regarding oil price and battery operated cars they are relieved of replacing petrol diesel which is sky rocketing.
