    16-18 dollars per million BTU.

    Natural gas isn’t necessarily any more energy efficient than anything else, but it burns very cleanly. There is very little other than methane in natural gas, and methane combusts completely very readily. All you get is water and CO2…now CO2 is its own ball of wax, but you aren’t getting smog components from it, like you do with most liquid and solid fossil fuels.

    It can be cost-effective, so in terms of dollars it is quite efficient, as it’s usually pretty cheap.
