Standard Enthalpy of Formation of Methanol?

methanol fuel
countrygurl587 asked:

Here 's the question: The methanol (CH3OH) is an organic solvent and is used as fuel in some engines car. The following data, the calculations enthalpy training standards of methanol. 2 CH3OH (l) + 3 O2 (g) 2 CO2 (g) + 4 H2O (l) (there was a delta) H ° rxn = -1452.8 kJ Nessun'idea how to do this. I tried to steal all entalpie to obtain CH2OH but wasn 't the right answer. O2 = 0 CO2 = -393.5 H2O = -285.8

For co2 h20 first please provide the total enthalpy change is independent of formation for co2 h20 first please without those it cannot be found use hesss lawroughly the route taken.
