Which is better: a hybrid, a diesel run on biodiesel or flex fuel?

I know I can do my own biodiesel and while not helping so much in emissions, is even better for the environment but also I did some reading in FlexFuel (engines of methanol, dell'etanolo or petrol) and in hybids but nell'non sure that is the best option

People selling biodiesel commercially, but many farms don 't makes biodiesel themselves. The gas prices are going up and the second system, the cost of production of biodiesel (initial development, methanol, lye / potash) may be the lowest price at the pump. If farms have some restaurants or food nearby cycles, meaning they would order the use of cooking fat and make biodiesel to supply their equipment fuel?
