Do you think City Police should drive Hybrid cars?

In this day and age I think that police in the city should lead the hybrid vehicles. They 're more economic fuel consumption and environmentally friendly. What do you think? One option would be out of the hybrid Ford. It has enough room to transport passengers in the rear seat and room enough in back to carry the equipment. And more than enough power for the city.
